How to Sell Designer Watches and Jewellery
Cudoni’s mission is to simplify the luxury resale process, so you can effortlessly give your pre-loved pieces a new life. From our free home collection to our authentication process to the final sale, we handle everything so you can get back to your busy life.
1. We start with a free collection where an expert Cudoni representative comes to you.
2. Once we’ve received your watches and jewellery, we’ll get straight to work on authenticating and valuing each one. Every item goes through a thorough process carried out by our in-house gemmologists and watch experts to gain a complete understanding of the piece and confirm the piece’s authenticity.
3. After your items have been authenticated, we’ll agree on a valuation with you and start selling. We’ll handle the entire process, from photography and buyer communications to shipping. Your account manager will notify you of each sale and when your earnings have been transferred to you.
What are the Requirements of Selling Designer Jewellery
We accept branded and unbranded pieces from a variety of designers and watchmakers, including Cartier, Bvlgari, Van Cleef & Arpels, Tiffany & Co., and Cartier.
What are the Requirements of Selling Designer Watches
As with our jewellery, and all of our luxury pieces, we only accept authentic watches with minimal signs of wear. The brand’s label or stamp must be present, and a serial code must also be legible on the piece. We accept watches from brands like Rolex, Patek Philippe, Breitling, and Omega.
How we Authenticate Watches and Jewellery
As with all luxury goods Cudoni sells, every watch and piece of jewellery we receive goes through a rigorous authentication process. Our in-house experts carefully inspect each piece, considering all its elements.
They look for the designer or watchmaker’s signature, like a particular engraving, something that could also indicate where and when the piece was made. This can help determine whether the piece is vintage, or even antique, and if the piece was made during a particularly iconic time period for the designer or watchmaker.
Our experts confirm the quality and craftsmanship of all our designer jewellery and watches, confirming the metal type and purity, grade the diamonds using the 4 C’s and identify and asses each gemstone.
If you have beautiful, authentic pieces in your collection that you’re ready to part with, we can help.
