Cudoni was founded with one purpose in mind – to provide the simplest and most rewarding service in selling pre-owned luxury goods - including (but not limited to) clothes, handbags, jewellery, accessories, shoes, technology and homeware.
We strive to ensure time remains a luxury for successful people with a busy lifestyle who want to de-clutter their wardrobes and homes. Our results speak for themselves and have led us to become a trusted partner for our sellers on a regular basis.
In turn, this supports our environmental focus in enabling sustainability and recycling. These items are high quality and were made to last a lifetime – we enable them to change hands multiple times and celebrate quality workmanship.
“Our mission is to take the time and hassle out of selling pre-loved luxury. Selling quality items shouldn’t be a burden – it should be a rewarding experience that is easy and fun.”
James Harford-Tyrer is our founder - a serial entrepreneur, having set up his first successful business at 13. James started laying the foundations for Cudoni many years ago and spotted a gap in the market for a premium online service and community of stylish individuals with overflowing wardrobes. Cudoni was born.
Cudoni’s name derives from Countess Antonella Cudone, one of our first customers and an avid fan of our premium service.
“I'm delighted to have seen the Cudoni brand flourish. For me, it's the ultimate in service; James and the team have made selling pre-owned luxury so enjoyably simple.”
We’ve developed a new approach to the traditional retail sales model. You don’t just sell within the Cudoni community, you get the benefit of extensively analysed market research and specialist knowledge that will secure higher end sale values.
It’s this attitude to treating our customers like VIPs and going the extra mile, combined with our innovative and entrepreneurial spirit, which attracts our sellers.
Cudoni has the backing of multiple high-profile investors, each an expert in their own field, such as Matt Cooper (Founder of Capital One and Chairman of Octopus Investments), Giles Brook (CEO of the incredibly successful Vita Coco brand and founding investor of the recently sold Urban Fresh Foods - Bear Nibbles), Paul Schneider (Global Head of Product at Exane BNP Paribas) and Keith MacDonald (Partner at Ernst & Young), among others.
